Lorne Hotel downstairs is getting transformed into a club this January

The drive down to Lorne is going to be well worth it when the Pop-Up Club takes over the Lorne Hotel from January 3-15.

For part of the month, the bottom level of the Lorne Hotel will become a go-to for nightlife along the Surf Coast.

For various nights the Pop Up Club will play host to a huge mix of talent, playing everything from hip hop & rnb to classic house and techno. DJ Horizon from ‘Fox FM R&B Fridays’ will even be headlining on the January 5.

“The bottom level of the Lorne Hotel, once a go-to for nightlife in the area, has long been neglected. Pop Up Club will be restoring nightlife in Lorne to its full supremacy and then some, gettin’ down every night (bar Monday) from 10pm – 3am, Jan 3rd – 15th,” the event page says.

As for the rest of the acts, you can expect to see Brynny on the 3rd, Jesse James on the 4th, Rojdar on the 6th, Jesse Young (Cutting Shapes) on the 7th, Mike Metro on the 8th, John Course on the 10th, Courtney Mills on the 11th, Uno Dance Club DJs on the 12th, Heath Renatta on the 13th, Generik on the 14th and more.

The entry fee is $10 before 11pm, and we hear there will be drink specials each night too. So hit the beach and then hit the pop up club.
