Ballarat Beer Festival drops killer music line up

While the Ballarat Beer Festival may be ‘all about the beer’ (there’s over 200 different craft beers to be exact) it boasts a pretty killer line up as well.

Performing at this year’s festival will be Dallas Crane, Blues Brothers, Riflebirds, The Houndlings, Michael Meeking & the Lost Souls, This Way North and Davey Lane returns as part of Thee Gravy Train Four.

“I played the Ballarat Beer Festival last year with my fellow You Am I brothers – it was the first time we’d played anything of its kind and was a true testament to all that a thriving, culturally rich town like Ballarat has to offer.

“We were supplied with all manner of local hop-based delights and had a wonderful time,” says Davey.

With this 2017 event taking place on January 21, it’s set to be the biggest event of the festival’s history, with more than 40 brewers making their way down to the festival and over 20 new beers being released on the day by various brewers.

Along with beer festivities, there will also be a series of family friendly activities, including human-sized foosball as part of the ‘Beerllarat Olympics’.
