Brenden Boslem aka Bozza is an upcoming Indigenous hip-hop artist from Cardwell in far north Queensland. Beginning his musical journey in 2010, Bozza recorded his first ever demo ‘It’s a Hard Life’ following the loss of his grandparents before putting his journey on hold in 2013 to focus on parenthood, which later inspired his demo ‘A Fathers Love’.
Moving forward, he continued to write and record, meet with other hip-hop artists across Australia, and record his first online mix tape The Beginning Part 1.
This year marks the recording of his first ever six track album Black & Deadly, recorded and produced by himself and KDM (Kuranda Digital Media). He was also awarded ‘Australia’s Best Urban Artist 2016’ in the Australian Independent Music Awards with his track ‘Suicide Letter’.
