Don Henley announced for A Day on the Green performance in March next year

Don Henley is heading to Geelong, and he’s bringing his 15-piece band with him.

Last in Australia in early 2015, the Eagles co-founder, vocalist and drummer will be heading to Australia shores in March next year for a series of A Day on the Green performances.

As well as being joined by his 15-piece band, JEWEL, Richard Clapton and Melody Pool will also share the stage, rounding out the day’s performances.

Through his career with the Eagles, Henley was involved in creating such hits as ‘Dirty Laundry’, ‘Heart Of The Matter’, ‘Boys Of Summer’, ‘The End Of The Innocence’, and ‘All She Wants To Do Is Dance’. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

The A Day on the Green concert is set for Mt Duneed Estate, March 18. Tickets are on sale 10am Monday, November 28 via Ticketmaster.
