So back in 2010 Dave Wright and Liam Cameron began playing shows under the moniker Once Upon a Time in the West. Things worked okay, but there was a little something missing. A little two something’s missing. Enter Rob Barber and Tim Cavanagh and a name change to Dave Wright & The Midnight Electrics. Busting out their narrative-driven rock with a country tinge, the band released their debut EP in 2012. Titled Suicide Season, the EP picked up strong support, notably with single ‘Railway Song’. Their next effort, 2013’s For King and Country, was released to commemorate ANZAC Day. The EP features four songs that examine the effect of war and it is available for free download through their official website. 2013 also saw the addition of new players.
