The ultimate celebration of French music, food and culture returns for 2017

For lovers of all things French, So Frenchy So Chic is the festival for you. Held next year at Werribee Park Mansion on January 15, the festival is a day-long event which features several musicians, lots of food and wine and the chance to wander the gardens.

Playing this year will be six-piece Deluxe, another six-piece embracing the sensual ’60s the Liminanas, Paris-based Bertrand Belin and So Frenchy So Chic royalty, Nouvelle Vague.

As for the food, there’ll be macaroons, gelato and snacks available for purchase on the day. You can BYO your own picnic or take a look at the hamper deals here, where you can get a vegetarian lunch, a cheese platter and more. The hampers must be pre-ordered and are put together by Ed Dixon in Melbourne.

Completing the French garden party experience is the finest wines from Laurent Perrier which will be chilled and flowing all day, as will French beer, rosé from Provence, reds and whites from Bordeaux, and special cocktails at the SFSC vintage caravan.
