Local favourite Edge reopens with new look

After closing for 10 days from September 12-22, Edge has opened with a fresh new look, logo and hashtag (#taketheedgeoff).

What could be said as one of the most popular late-night bars in Geelong, particularly for its prime location at the Waterfront, the facelift is a welcome change to the many regulars that walk through the doors.

Outside you’ll notice a brand new neon sign (at night it’ll be hard to miss it) and inside the bar countertop has had a remodel, the furniture has had some colour injected with yellow bar stools and overall there’s a cleaner look.

While the structural changes aren’t massive, even a splash of fresh paint makes a huge difference. And when it’s right in time for summer, there’s no complaints here.

The change at Edge follows on from the rebranding of Braveras to Wah Wah Gee. Chances are there’ll be more changes in the EMC Group venues in the months to come.

You can find Edge at 1/6-8 Eastern Beach Road, Geelong or via Facebook.
