Twice as Nice is the newest boutique festival to hit Geelong, scheduled for New Year’s Day at Mt Duneed Estate.
The festival has been made possible thanks to Roundhouse entertainment – the people who also bring you the many A Day on the Green concerts.
For the inaugural event, Sneaky Sound System will be headliners and there will also be performances from Yolanda Be Cool, Indian Summer, Kid Kenobi, Grand Master Baitz and an appearance from footballer and amateur DJ, Corey Enright (Corey will be assisted by local DJs Chook & Moluck).
Things run a little bit differently at Twice as Nice, as your ticket not only gains you entry to the site and the incredible line up, it also includes your food and drinks for the day. Essentially, there’s no cash needed!
As for the food, the barrel hall of the estate will be transformed into a relaxed rustic chic hub with large communal tables, cocktail rounds, bar stools and lounges. It will also serve as the point where you can indulge in the many fine wines, cocktails, craft beers and high-end food options on offer.
Melbourne caterers Damm Fine Food will be serving up cool festival food from stalls throughout the venue all afternoon and evening. Think giant Paella Pans, NY Burger Grill, Oyster Shucking Bars, A Taco + Tortilla Stand, Healthy Salad Boxes, Cones of Fish n Chips and Gelato with Berries and Chilli Popcorn to keep you well fed all day long.
Cocktails like Moscow Mule, Spice Mojito, Aperol Spritz, Tom Collins and Pimms; spirits include Ketel One Vodka, Tanqueray Gin, Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum; beers are Corona, Peroni, Petavel Road Pale Ale & Golden Ale and of course there’s Mt Duneed’s sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Shiraz.
Twice as Nice is located at Mt Duneed Estate and runs from 3-10.30pm on January 1, 2017.
