Queenscliff’s Espy Hotel is Set to Become the Queenscliff Brewhouse Under New Owners

Queenscliff’s favourite Espy Hotel, well-know and loved by locals and tourists alike, is getting a revamp.

Announced recently, The Esplanade Hotel is set to undergo changes within the coming months with contracts recently signed over to new owners at Otway Brewing.

Renamed The Queenscliff Brewhouse, this will be an upgrade to the treasured icon while still maintaining its historical charm we have come to love.

Much like any seaside venue, prepare to kick back and relax with craft beer, regional wine and local produce.

“We want The Queenscliff Brewhouse to be a place where everyone feels welcome”, said company director Andrew Noseda.  “Whilst we want to showcase local craft beers and regional wines, we will also accommodate drinkers who prefer a more conventional drop.”

Talk so far has mentioned changes in increasing the beers taps from 8 to 20 and having a tasting room where we can try the local beers and wines.

With the owners also in charge of the Great Ocean Road Brewhouse in Apollo Bay, the venue is in good hands. We can’t wait!
