Bringing the show from screen to stage, Chopper’s Republic of Anzakistan, is heading out across Australia for a national tour.
Featuring Logie and ARIA award nominated comedian, Heath Franklin, as Chopper himself, the show is one for the ages. Since his debut, the comedian has sold more than 450,000 tickets, released three DVDs, toured around Australia, New Zealand and the UK and has a weekly presence on radio station Triple M.
“Australia, it’s time. It’s time for a new leader, a new name and a new set of balls. It’s time to become the world’s newest superpower – Anzakistan. And I’m just the bloke to run it. I may not have any experience, but at least you know where I stand – right behind a moustache. Join the revolution!” he says
The show stops by the Lighthouse Theatre in Warrnambool on October 12, Regent Cinemas in Ballarat on October 14, Capital Theatre in Bendigo on October 15 and Costa Hall in Geelong on October 16.
