Geelong Art Society

The Shearer’s Arms gallery, which dated back to 1847, was acquired by the Society in 1987 and is now its base. It contains a large purpose built studio, four gallery display rooms, a well-equipped office and a kitchen. The building is the oldest surviving building in Geelong West and following an agenda from the Heritage Society is slowly being renovated.

The Geelong Art Society offers classes to students, adults and children, with options for beginners to advanced artists available. Such topics covered are; oils, watercolour, acrylics, pastel, life drawing, sculpture and more throughout the year. Below is a list of upcoming classes.
