Sometimes you need to step away to gain a little perspective, and so it became that when Chris Cavill returned to the music world with Know Your Destiny, he did so with his most ambitious record to date.
Along with his band The Prospectors, the songman toured the album to great feedback from the folk/blues family. Twelve months on, Chris and co. have returned with All That You Got (June 24), a blistering modern bluesrock album inspired by the ’70s rock/grunge era of Neil Young, Tom Petty and Led Zeppelin that has the volume knob turned to eleven.
They kick off a tour at the end of the month, with dates set for The Loft, Warrnambool on July 15 and The Vine, Bendigo on July 16.
