Reconciliation Week Kicks Off Tonight With Digital Projections

As part of Reconciliation Week (which runs from May 27 – June 3), Geelong will once again light up the night.

Launching this evening, the iconic town hall building will have artworks and imagery developed through the talents of local Aboriginal artists projected onto its facade.

This year’s theme is ‘Our History, Our Story, Our Future’ and in working closely with the Wathaurung Aboriginal Corporation and Wathaurung Aboriginal Co-Operative the council has seen the subject come to fruition.

Various other events will occur around the city as part of NRW.

The projections will begin tonight at 5.30pm and run until June 5 nightly between 6-11pm.
