Winter! You won’t even notice it when The Junes do their magic at Portarlington’s Saints and Sailors on June 3.
Yeah, that’s right. They’re called The Junes and they’re playing a show in June. That is the way they roll. The progressive country outfit is led by the unstoppable forces of Sarah Carroll, Suzannah Espie and Gleny Rae.
Sarah is the ‘Ukulele Queen of the Bellarine’ and knows a thing or two about country guitar. Suzannah was the Port Fairy Folk Festival’s ‘Artist of the Year’ in 2013 and plays a mean guitar and mandolin. Gleny makes the fiddle and squeezebox talk.
What’s extra cool about this gig is that they’ll be shooting a live video. Just try and resist.
