Metal heads, rejoice! At the end of last month, Brisbane melodic death groovers Chronolyth released their second album, Atrophy.
In an interview with Music is My Muse, guitarist Ben Constable opened up about the album’s creation: “We approached this album as a group of guys trying to write the best music we could. We went through a lot of minor disagreements and periods where we just couldn’t come up with anything tangible … In the end, we just said ‘fuck it’ and sat down with a few beers, a few guitars and a laptop. That’s how we ended up writing a lot of the songs – just by hanging out as mates, and jamming things out.”
