Slated to take over the Reverence Hotel on October 1, Sad Grrrls Fest is a festival organised by Aussie based collective the Sad Grrrls Club.
The festival will be headlined by Jaala, Jess Ribeiro and Camp Cope and also features performances from Simona Castricum, Miss Destiny, Dark Fair and Kt Spit. The organisers are setting out to promote gender equality as each act on the bill has at least 1 “non-male” member as opposed to recent industry trends which find around 20-30% of a typical festival lineup are female.
