Just a Gent is electronic producer and DJ Jacob Grant. He describes himself as “just your everyday gentleman making your not so everyday dance music”, which includes his latest floor-filler, ‘Heavy as a Heartbreak (feat. LANKS)’.
It would be pretty difficult to have missed the track, given it has received high rotation on triple j, more than one million streams on Soundcloud (to go with his 100,000 followers), hit #1 on Hype Machine and featured as ‘Song of the Day’ on Indie Shuffle.
As for what is ahead, if all goes according to plan his debut EP should drop in May. For the time being, Just a Gent will be taking his signature ‘Gent’ party on tour.
