‘Embracing Me’ is the new single from Canberra’s indie-electronic outfit SAFIA and they’re all fired up to take it around the country. The band sat down with the triple j crew early this month to give the track its first spin, where they also revealed a little teaser that their (long-awaited) debut album may be on its way. A crew of some 50 people (family, friends and extras) featured in the “religious cut-off community”-style clip. Once again, the band joined forces with Crux Media, notching up their fifth collaboration in a relationship that began back in 2013. The Karova, Ballarat – August 20 & Bended, Geelong – August 21. This will be the band’s final tour of the year.
